David Curtis is by far my favourite landscape painter; his oils and watercolours are amazing even when viewed on the web (and hopefully I'll have a real one on my wall soon!)
Loomis was one of the best anatomical artists who ever lived, so if you can't get your hands on his actual books, you can still browse some of his stuff online here
